C. Todd Marks, Esq.
Prior to forming the law office of Westchase Law, P.A. and Westchase Title, LLC in Tampa, Florida, C. Todd Marks attended the George Mason School of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Marks graded on to the Law Review and served as the Symposium Editor. Mr. Marks practiced law in Virginia and Washington, D.C. Mr. Marks began his legal career in Washington, DC and McLean, Virginia with the law firm of Shaw Pittman, LLP where he practiced in the emerging companies and commercial real estate practice groups.
In the meantime, Todd remained active in local and national political campaigns. Todd eventually worked for law firm Connolly, Bove, Lodge & Hutz in the commercial litigation and bankruptcy practice groups where he developed a general practice which included estate planning and other business law matters.
His experience includes real estate closings and disputes, commercial leases, commercial litigation, creditors' rights in bankruptcy, corporate formation and transactions, estate planning, employment law, and family law. Mr. Marks and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of two boys and a girl.
Mr. Marks serves on the Board of the Westchase Charitable Foundation and has served on the Board of Church at the Bay.

J. Chad Self, Esq.
Before joining Westchase Law, P.A., J. Chad Self earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee and his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. During law school, Mr. Self participated in Cooley’s Estate Planning Clinic, completing over 90 hours of pro bono work, and after graduation, Mr. Self worked as a law clerk at another Florida family law firm. Mr. Self is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Self has experience handling estate planning, divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, child relocation, time sharing, paternity, and termination of parental rights issues.

Kelly M. Husk, Esq.

Before joining Westchase Law, P.A., Kelly M. Husk earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Philosophy & Political Science from The Florida State University. She went on to pursue her law degree and received her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University in Orlando, Florida. During law school, Ms. Husk participated in Barry University’s Child & Family Law Concentration Program. Ms. Husk also gained experience working as a law clerk for a firm located in Wesley Chapel, FL where she was consequently hired on as an Associate Attorney focusing on the areas of family law, bankruptcy, and personal injury.

Ashley M. Wait, Florida Registered Paralegal

Ms. Wait has 7 years experience working as a paralegal for law firms both in Naples and Tampa, FL. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Florida State University where she majored in Political Science, and minored in Business & English. While attending F.S.U. in Tallahassee, FL, Ms. Wait gained invaluable experience working for the Florida State Senate Sergeant at Arms and as a lobbyist intern. These positions led her to obtaining her position as Campaign Coordinator for a primary election and as Legislative Assistant for The Florida State House of Representatives’ Majority Whip.
After Legislative Session, Ms. Wait decided to give up her position in the political arena and focus more on other areas of law. Ms. Wait’s substantial background includes all areas of law with an expertise in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Corporate, and Tax.

Keren J. Dawson-Ramirez, Legal Assistant

Keren J. Dawson-Ramirez, originally from Costa Rica has 3 years experience working as a legal assistant. Her wealth of knowledge in short sales and foreclosure defense is a key asset in assisting the paralegals and Attorneys to accomplish our clients’ goals. Negotiating a favorable outcome for our clients has become one of Ms. Dawson’s specialties. In addition to assisting both the paralegals and Attorneys over the years, Ms. Dawson-Ramirez has performed and mastered an array of office and administrative duties. She takes pride in learning new tasks quickly and thoroughly, and adapting to any situation thrown her way. Her main focus is helping people achieve their goals by utilizing her knowledge, skills, and experience to provide the best possible service to clients. Being bilingual, Ms. Dawson-Ramirez has exceptional client service skills and strives to do anything she can to assist in achieving our clients’ goals.

Brenda Rojas, Certified Paralegal/Licensed Title Agent/Business Manager

Mrs. Rojas, a New York native, moved to Ohio, and finally settled in Florida where she has lived most of her adult life. She graduated from college and earned her certification as a paralegal. After working for several law firms in the Tampa Bay area, Mrs. Rojas landed a position at one of the largest law firms in Clearwater, FL., which amounted to the start of her very successful career in the legal field. Throughout the impressive 12 years which were spent with Attorney James A. Staack, Mrs. Rojas gained invaluable experience as head paralegal, office manager, and client relations facilitator. Over the years, Mrs. Rojas has assisted in all areas of law, but her primary focus is in Corporate and Real Estate law.
In 2000, after mastering all of her skill sets, Mrs. Rojas decided to take her wealth of knowledge and branch off to open her own title insurance practice and real estate company. Subsequently, in 2010, Mrs. Rojas merged her successful title business with Westchase Title and brought her talents to Westchase Law, P.A. Westchase Law, P.A. and Westchase Title, LLC continues to succeed and thrive in the local community providing in part thanks to Mrs. Rojas' experience in both law and title. Mrs. Rojas, also, founder of the very first chapter of the NAHREP here in Tampa, served on the board as Treasurer for 2 years.
